Our Trips
Experience some of the best fishing in the Pacific Northwest—powerful fish, beautiful water, and days you won’t forget. Whether you’re chasing steelhead or battling aggressive trout, every trip is built to be exciting, rewarding, and memorable (with the bonus of turning your catch into an incredible meal).
Summer Steelhead (July – November)
Our summer steelhead trips start with a jet boat ride from the mouth of the Deschutes, giving access to the lower 24 miles of prime water.
The Deschutes is perfect for swinging flies—both on the dry line and with sink tips. Long, steady runs create ideal conditions, and when a steelhead grabs, it’s an explosive, unforgettable experience.
Deschutes Redside Trout (May – Mid-July)
These jet boat trips target aggressive redside trout that see less pressure than other parts of the river.
Deschutes redsides are some of the hardest-fighting rainbow trout out there. Their strength, combined with the river’s current, makes every fish a battle—and a well-earned reward at the end of the day.
Winter Steelhead
With roots on the Alsea and Siletz, and decades of experience around Astoria, trips now focus on the Nestucca, Nehalem, and Tillamook area rivers.
Fish from a drift boat using indicator techniques or swing flies through smaller runs—either way, winter steelhead offer a challenging and rewarding pursuit.
More Than a Trip
We love teaching steelhead fly fishing, especially spey casting and swinging flies. Whether you’re new or experienced, we’ll match you with water that fits your comfort level—keeping the day fun, safe, and productive.
